Exhibition at the Tate?! Moi? Surely not....

"Exhibition Tickets" runs at The Tate Modern indefinately...

OK OK, So you get the idea. I am only actually at the Tate to have a nice day away from the Cock Tavern with Adam. He's been so busy with Hotel Sorrento he hasn't had chance to come and see my exhbition! It looks like it has been worth all the hard work though, check out what the press have said;

"The acting across the board is nuanced and heartfelt." The Stage

"Subtly stylish direction " The Stage

"
the play's themes and messages are just as relevant today as they were 20 years ago" Remote Goat

"The Cock Theatre continues to out-do itself in set design and lighting" Remote Goat

"I've rarely found two hours of theatre as enthralling as this" Extra Extra

"This play has so many strengths it is difficult to pick one" Extra Extra

So the press agree, this show really is a must see, I better see you down at The Cock Tavern soon!!

It has been a few days since I last posted on here but I have been really busy travelling around London with Adam on my bicycle, and watching the previews for Hotel Sorrento. It seems ages since we said goodbye to Pay As You Go and to all of the people that made it happen. They were a fantastic company, I had a great time playing with them and wish them all the best in the future.

For now though, I think I should be telling you about the present and not the future. Hotel Sorrento is previewing before press night on Friday- how exciting! I had great fun playing around on stage whilst the technical rehearsal was going on!

Also make sure you look out for Meg Moynihan on Facebook, she'll be keeping you updated with all that's going on in Sorrento. I am looking forward to seeing what the press say on Friday about what promises to be a really fantastic show. It’s already selling fast so make sure you don’t miss out.

People also keep telling me that BOND IS COMING, but I don't really understand what that’s all about.

I’ll try not to leave it quite so long before getting back in touch with you all,

Back on Stage!!

Thats right everybody! I was back on stage last night- in the chorus of La Boheme at The Soho Theatre. It was really exciting to be performing again and I loved every minute of it. I am looking forward to reprising my role and collecting my Olivier....

On the bus this morning I read all the reviews of my performance in La Boheme, and then enjoyed the rest of the journey looking out the window!
Me on the Bus looking out at London

Here's what the press said about La Boheme:

" intelligent, cohesive and satisfying"
- The Stage

"They give opera immediacy and accessibility"
- British Theatre Guide

"musicality that will be hard to forget"
- British Theatre Guide

"brings opera into the 21st Century"
- British Theatre Guide

"the infatuations, jealous spats and reconciliations are all intensely affecting."
- Evening Standard

"Robin Norton-Hale’s sharp, demotic translation"
- Evening Standard

"I salute the show’s fresh, enterprising spirit"
- The Telegraph

The press agree with me that this is a great night out all round! Please don't take our word for it though, come down to the Soho Theatre and see for yourselves!

Edinburgh? Not for me!

Lots of my theatre pet friends have headed North to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, to work on shows or just to go and see them. I didn't really fancy it though, particularly as there is so much exciting work going on here in London. Why would you need to jump in my doggy bag and head on that long journey north?

Pay As You Go is selling well, and is sure to be a success by the end of the run. I have seen it twice now, it really is a fantastic piece of theatre. The cast are also lovely, they are always playing with me and saying hello when they arrive to prepare for their show. We still have the 2 for 1 offer available, just type promo code "friend" in when you book online at www.ticketweb.co.uk.

Our other show Subs has just extended and now plays into September which is really exciting news! It's selling fast so make sure you don't miss out. This is a wonderful show, set in a sub-editors office of the men's magazine, Gentlemen Prefer... but don't worry even The Stage recognised that "you don't have to be a sub-editor to enjoy this show." It really is well worth coming down for.

While these two are playing I'm pretty sure Adam's planning a holiday for the two of us. He keeps talking about Hotel Sorrento which sounds exotic and exciting. He also keeps talking about Australia and how beautiful it is. So I think he's taking me back to his home with him to stay at Hotel Sorrento in Australia- which certainly beats the rain of the Edinburgh Fringe. He is very busy at the minute with a new play by Hannie Rayson which sounds very exciting. Strangely that's called Hotel Sorrento too, what a coincidence....

Speak to you all soon,
